Idea Factory International announced that the roguelike RPG Death end re;Quest Code Z will be released in the west for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and Switch in 2025. The game will be available in both physical and digital formats.

What is the Death end re;Quest series?

The Death end re;Quest series is an exhilarating RPG where a band of young adventurers navigate a world corrupted by glitches, facing imminent death as they unravel mysteries and confront peril. It features gripping Death Ends crafted by Makoto Kedouin, renowned for Corpse Party.

The inaugural game of the series debuted on PlayStation 4 in 2018 (Japan) and 2019 (North America and Europe), followed by its sequel, Death end re;Quest 2, which launched on PlayStation 4 in 2020 (Japan, North America, and Europe).

In the third installment of the Death end re;Quest series, character designer Kei Nanameda and scenario supervisor Makoto Kedouin, known for Corpse Party, return. This time, the narrative revolves around a new protagonist, Sayaka Hiwatari, embroiled in a tale of parallel universes where distinguishing friend from foe becomes an impossible task.
