So imagine my surprise this morning when I opened the app, and I can no longer see my calendar past 30 days ahead! Unlike some, I do NOT recall receiving any kind of notification that this was going to happen. So, now it seems I don't even have the option to move my events to Google calendar or some other calendar app because I can't access them. Grrrr!!!!!

I have used Cozi for as long as I can remember, at least the last five years, and I recommended it to anyone who needed a family calendar. However, with their new update, every useful feature is behind a pay wall. You can't use the widget unless you pay. You can't schedule beyond 30 days unless you pay. I might understand a one-time fee for lifetime access but $40 a year just for a calendar makes no sense. I will be moving on.

I have been using this calendar for free for many many years. I have appointments on there that I have scheduled out until December. I received no notification that I would not be able to see after one month ahead. This is not okay. I did not receive an email notification I received nothing that would notify me that this changes occurring. Importing into Google calendar takes forever because of the multiple people that it copies over. I don't want something to appear on Google four times.

This app used to be amazing but the newest update made the free version essentially useless. I have been using this app for over 5 years and it has been great! It was easy to use and had all the basic features I needed. The newest update now won't let you see your calendar farther than a month out or schedule anything past that time and won't let you use the widget version. Dissapointed that I need to find another app and they did all this without any warning.

(Updated Review) The same issues and recommendations I had from 2015 are STILL the same in 2023. I am now questioning my own decisions...Why am I still using this app that does not truly work for my needs??? I would love to be able to edit & categorize my lists much easier. Add an item within the list. Automatically move checked items to the bottom of the list. Link recipes with grocery list!

It was great for synching a calendar across iOS and Android devices, but they've now hidden basic functions behind a subscription paywall. I get that apps need to make money to stay around, but a screen widget and the ability to see more than a month out is not premium content, that's basic stuff for a calendar app. I'll be switching soon to a competitor.

My family has used the ad supported Cozi for over a decade. I've relied on the widgets to quickly see our schedule and to-do lists as soon as I open my phone. Today, it appears the widgets are exclusive to Cozi Gold. No prior notice; no updated comparison chart showing the different functions between ad-supported and Gold. All i know is my widgets only show a golden lock icon paired with a simple prompt to upgrade. I'll likely need to find a different organization service at this point.

Extremely dissapointed with the update that now requires you to pay for features that have been available for years with the free version. Our family has been using the free version of Cozi for about 10 years and it was a great app. If these features are not made available at no cost again, unfortunately we will be Uninstalling the app. With cheaper to no cost alternatives it is not worth $40 a year.

I can only add to what's been said in recent days. The calendar app has certainly been a useful tool for me and my family for a great many years. However, the introduced cost is too high for the amount of use that I make of it; perhaps it might have been possible to have tiered pricing as a lot of the features and content I have no need for. I would have considered a nominal monthly charge, but jumping from 'free' to the ridiculously high price it has been set at (in May 24) is a step too far.
