Update: you eventually get more likes, however, when you send someone a message, eventually the person will go back into your liked list as if you never sent a message. Did they ever get the message? Who knows?? -------- You get 10 likes a day. You get people far away from your geographic location despite setting your location preferences. The swipe controls are clunky. Everything about OkCupid now versus OKCupid years ago is worse. Literally everything.

I consistently get "you matched" only to find they don't appear in the chats. Also, after 2 days without messaging, connections turn back into "you matched" with a notification every single time I open the app. Very annoying. Also annoying is the constant reminder to turn on notifications. If I wanted them, I would turn them on. App is becoming unusable.

BROKEN. AVOID. Used this before and was good. But broken now. I don't even get likes from people in the same country as me. You can set a distance as a "deal breaker". But it makes no difference. It's mostly Kenya. They piled up likes, convincing me it was worth paying for membership. And it wasn't. No one even on the same continent as me. So it's not even a passable solution. Looks like they've given up. So best to avoid

Took my debit card off and opted out of monthly charges. What happens? Turns out you can't do it off the app. No. You have to go on a computer and THEN opt out of monthly charges or whatever plan you went with EVEN THOUGH they shouldn't even have your card on file AFTER you remove it. Also, I had 3 likes before I canceled and got my money back. Then "mysteriously" I get 23 MORE like that just suddenly appear. Thats how they try and get you, with fake bots. Tital bs this app is. Waste of time.

This app just charged my card for $11 and it just told me that they didn't. I got a receipt from the bank that my card was charged and the premium features were never present! Edit: I contacted their support and they mentioned that the payment never reflected on their end, my payment was made on their platform and I should not be paying yhe price for their faulty system! I gave substantial proof of the charge reflecting on my end and they told me it did not reflect on their system.

I've never written a review before because usually I'm easy going and don't care however this app is extremely predatory. It gives me a notification that I can start swiping again and I CANT. It then shows me to pay for premium/basic. WHO in their right mind will drop over $10 for a subscription when their platform is predatory. If I could do 0 stars I would

Okc used to be the best dating app but greed has ruined it. Men get about 10-15 swipes every 20 hours and chances of them giving you someone that has also swiped yes is extremely low. It says I've got over 50 people interested yet after 4 days of swiping, nothing. They've finally made it nearly impossible to actually meet anyone without paying. The premium package has also gone up significantly and dropped features that you only get back with an even higher (and more overpriced) subscription.

WORST DATING SITE EVER!!! Literally have only been contacted by scammers with fake profiles. Can not communicate or really do anything unless you pay. Have hundreds of "likes" but can't even see them without paying. If I could at least see who they are before determining whether it would be worth it to pay to msg anyone that would be one thing. But as I've found already the lever if fake profiles are at 99% for who has contacted me. You'll notice that there is an agent login, sketchy

I can't even use it now. Stuck on the SMS Verification step (which is apparently forcefully needed) and no customer support. I sent a report but i got a FAQ email as a "support mail". Update: Still stuck, no customer support, no update.
